Scholarship Funds The Brother Duane A. Brown, O.P., Scholarship 
This scholarship was established in memory of Brother Duane A. Brown, O.P., a Dominican student brother at Aquinas Institute who died of leukemia. The scholarship provides up to $5,000 annually to lay Catholic students of ethnic minority backgrounds who are preparing for ministry or for advanced study in theology. Recipients must be enrolled in any degree program offered by Aquinas Institute, full- or part-time, and must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.00.

Presidential Scholarships 
A limited number of merit-based scholarships are awarded to select students who demonstrate high potential for academic success and/or ministerial leadership in the Church. These scholarships cover full tuition and fees. Recipients must be enrolled full time in the MA in Theology, MA in Pastoral Studies, or Master of Divinity degree program. These scholarships are awarded for the duration of the degree program as long as the student maintains a full-time academic load, and a GPA of 3.50 or higher.

Archdiocesan Scholarship
Any lay person currently employed by or volunteering at a Roman Catholic parish, school, or retreat facility in the Archdiocese of St. Louis may apply for this need-based scholarship. The scholarship will cover up to 50% of tuition. The student must be working toward the MA in Pastoral Studies degree, must maintain a GPA of at least 3.00, and must generally be taking a minimum of 6 credits per semester (half-time load). Applicants must provide a letter of recommendation from their pastor or work supervisor.

De Las Casas International Dominican Scholarship
Two scholarships are available for vowed Dominican religious sisters, brothers, and priests from developing countries to pursue an advanced degree in theology at Aquinas Institute. These scholarships will cover the full cost of tuition and fees for the duration of the student’s program as long as they maintain a 3.00 GPA. Candidates for this scholarship must have completed initial formation in their religious community, and have permission of their religious superior. All applicants must follow the norms set for international applicants at Aquinas Institute.
